last.fm goodness #2 - tripping over the 80's
right so i've fired up last.fm recommendation radio again for another round of last.fm goodness, and heres what it spat out.
supreme beings of leisure - so much more
a funky, chilled out track thats perfect for late night listening. got to love a bit of trip hop.
suburban kids with biblical names - marry me
i imagine this would be the out come if kings of convenience and the house martins had, had offspring.
george michael - faith
just the lastest in a long line of genuis that have gone slightly off the rails, lets just hope he gets it all back together again and puts out some more tracks as good as this one.
spandau ballet - gold
right i think last.fm has hit some sort of time warp. not complaining the 80's were great (in retrospective of course and if you ignore the strikes, poll tax and thatcher).
alpha - back
a lemon jelly-esq sound, with great vocals and really nice bass.
minitel rose - business woman
take a pinch of the 80's and a dash of the 90's mixed together with a dollop of new rave and you'd come close to summing up this track, with it's 80's synths and it's annie lennox style vocals, lets party like it's 1989.
kajagoogoo - too shy
so i finish with yet another 80's new wave offering, not too sure why last.fm has been throwing up so much of this stuff lately, but hey it's good sometimes.
