weezer posted their new video to their upcoming single 'pork and beans' a couple of days ago. as always they've managed to create something that taps right into current popular culture, by taking all the internet's biggest 'celebrities' such as tay zonday, daft hands, chris crocker, coke/mentos lab guys among others to create something that'll make you wonder what the world is coming to. ok-ish track wasn't blown away by it think the video kinda eclipses the track.

189 pineview irvine california, is no ordinary house. over the last 2 1/2 years the artist who owns the house has been creating murals on every wall. but the house is for sale and the murals have to be painted over, so an exhibition is being held to show off the work before that happens. check it out here.

i didn't realise how close we are to a peak in oil production, this could become really serious. this bbc article has just opened my eyes to how close we really are to running out of oil. lets hope that we can change to a new energy source before it runs out.

sam sparro

been listening to sam sparro's debut album this week. it's quite good in places although i think some of the lyrics are abit naive and sound slightly amateurish. but thats fine because the electro beats over the top make up for this. i've muxtaped my fave track from the album 21st century boy. hear it here.

summer summer summer time
