Newbie of the Month : Lancelot

Lancelot
It’s time to dust off them dancing boots (does anyone really own dancing boots), because Lancelot aussie electro funky house producer is here to get you back on the dancefloor. After spending the last three years composing classical music, he’s hitting the club with his unique style of down tempo funky electro house music. Drawing on a love of analogue equipment and his classical music background to create a well rounded club friendly sound. His debut EP ‘We Can Dance’ is set for release 20th February on Beatport and a general release following on 5th March.

From The Postbag : Coast Jumper

Coast Jumper
Right here’s a new feature i’m calling From The Postbag. I get sent alot of stuff and sometimes can’t always see a way to fit it in. So i’ve decided to every now and again dig into my inbox and dig out one lucky artist or band to feature here. Any genre whether I like them or not they’ll feature here. So first out of the bag are New York (Update they’re from San Francisco not New York oops) psychedelic rock band Coast Jumper, with their new and debut single ‘Lawless’, which is taken from a their new album ‘Grand Opening’. Part rock record part ambient experiment. The single is rocky, but rescued by a almost pop friendly vocal. The single and the album are available now over on bandcamp.

Dirty Dub

Riton
New sounds from Alunageorge in the form of a Riton rerub of thier track ‘You Know You Like It’. A low down dirty dub heavy rework that helps take Alunageorge’s chilled out RnB stylings to a totally new level.

Princeton – Florida

Princeton
It may be bloody freezing outside but let Los Angeles indie pop group Princeton transport you to warmer and sunnier climbs, thanks to their new single ‘Florida’. The single also features a dreamy reworking by Cosmic Kids. Hear it now over at Spotify.
