newbie of the week : the amplifetes

yep it's newbie time again ... this weeks newest arrivals, come in the form of the amplifetes. a electronic, rock group from new york. taking rock and electro and splicing them perfectly to create something, not unlike if the dandy worhols met cut copy, with a slight dub step vibe just bubbling under the surface. they've got a new ep out at the moment, called 'whizz kid'. which we think you should probably invest in. oh and as usual go give them some love over at myspace.
