ellie goulding's debut album 'lights' is due out for release on 1st march. it's just been added for pre-order on itunes, along with the 30sec previews. head over there now and have a listen ... sounds amazing, roll on the 1st.

'starry eyed' will be released 22nd february, with her debut album 'lights' closely following on the 1st march, will get the pre-order links up here as soon as they're available. it's been an amazing few months for miss goulding and it looks like it's about to get much better.

hidden gem

just found a random slice of musical goodness hidden away in my itunes. it's a remix/cover of passion pit's 'sleepyhead' performed by ellie goulding and starsmith. this cover takes the original and gives it a much more upbeat and sparkly feel. enjoy.

it's been a long time coming, but the debut single from ellie goulding is on the horizon. 2009 is turning into the year of the indie electro female vocalist, with artists such a la roux, little boots, ladyhawke and annie all set to dominate the charts over the summer. well i'd like to introduce the latest contender to the crown. her names ellie goulding, imagine if you can bjork and frankmusik had offspring, and ellie would be the sorta sound you'd get. shes defiantly gonna be massive, but anyway make up your own mind and let me know what ya think by commenting.
