temporary pleasure

with the release of the new simian mobile disco album, 'temporary pleasure' on the horizon (due 17th august). i thought it would be a good time to start showing the two james (james shaw and james ford) some love. stumbled over a live performance of 'synthesise' which will be on the new album. this track sounds like it has the potential to be a massive club tune, and along with 'audacity of huge' the album is gonna be massive.

simian mobile disco new single

simian mobile disco, have a new single on the way. 'audacity of huge' doesn't seem to have a release date yet, but SMD's myspace says they've got a new album coming out sometime in 2009 so the single will probably be released sometime around then, which is something to look forward to. if this track is anything to judge the album by seems like SMD are going for a much more lyrically based sounds, similar to 'i believe' which was one of my fave tracks from the last album. anyway make up your own mind and give SMD some love over at myspace.
